New Jersey Alliance Futbol Club (NJAFC) is an organization based out of New Jersey created with core values whose focus is on discipline and growth.  The club was founded in 2012 with the start of the Lyndhurst Men’s Futbol team that has advanced from the Garden State Soccer League’s (GSSL) B Division to now competing in the United Premier Soccer League.  Presently, NJAFC proudly has three Men’s Teams 1 competing in the newly formed Nisa Nations League, 2 in the United Premier Soccer League along with a Women’s team who had competed in both the Women’s Premier Soccer League/ and newly joined the Fall/Spring 2021/2022 NY Metropolitan Women’s Soccer League.  NJAFC’s continued success has been possible with the continued encouragement and support from the coaching staff who dedicate their time into constantly improving the training system to prepare the players for high level competition.  The club’s soccer focus is now ready to keep expanding and is excited to embark on a journey to implement quality training for the community’s youth programs and club teams that include recreational and traveling levels.  NJAFC’s core values are family oriented and focused on providing a memorable and positive soccer experience that focuses on development and the enjoyment of the beautiful sport through competition.  The overall goal is to design a path for development without limitations along with the encouragement that the youth’s soccer experience leads to constant growth that will include competing at high levels, college, semi-pro, and/or professional.  We look forward to making your soccer experience the best one yet!

family& community

NJAFC started with an idea of giving back to the community thru sponsorship.  Unified Home Systems which has been the sponsor since the beginning and also hands on has boosted NJAFC throughout the 6 years in progress which began in the summer of 2012.  NJAFC started with 1 men’s team competing in the B Division of the GSSL and have grown to be 5 adult teams.  We have NJAFC Nisa Nations Team, NJAFC UPSL’s Premier and Division 1 Teams, NJAFC WPSL Team, and NJAFC NY Metropolitan Women’s Soccer League.  All five teams have a dedicated coach working with them at least 3 times a week to continue our success.  The club is built on the concept of family, we know when its time to play around and when its time to work.  We have over 100 members in the club today with coaches, players and board members.  We have been fortunate enough to have the right people that put in the hard work to have this club continue to succeed on and off the field. Our board members, staff, coaches and team members are all family and we can only hope that our family continues to grow as we add on more teams in the years to come.

EDGAR GUARDIA

PRESIDENT & FOUNDER

Edgar is an entrepreneur, community advocate, family man, coach and club president. Raised in Lyndhurst, NJ, he formed New Jersey Alliance FC (NJAFC) in 2012 with just one team playing in the GSSL League as the Lyndhurst Juggernauts. Now he is the proud leader of teams in the United Professional Soccer League (UPSL), Woman’s Professional Soccer League (WPSL) and the Garden State Soccer League (GSSL). His company, Unified Home Systems, is the proud sponsor of NJAFC.

Edgar grew up in a tightly-knit family and looks to create the same sense of family among his players, coaches, board and staff. He is always only a phone call or text away from everyone and is happy to help and support those in his soccer family. With NJAFC he aspires to make the opportunity to train and play soccer in a professional environment affordable and achievable to all that work hard and want it. He believes that all youths deserve an opportunity to be the best futbolista they can be regardless of background and income. He hopes to expand his club to one day include boy and girls clubs that will share the same sense of family, training and mentorship.

BRIANA MORALES

VICE PRESIDENT

Briana Morales, NJAFC's Vice President, started as a player on the women's GSSL team in 2017. Briana grew up in Paterson and attended De Paul High School in Wayne. Thereafter, she pursued degrees from New Jersey Institute of Technology and Parsons School of Design. She holds degrees in Engineering, Business Administration and Interior Design.  

After high school, Briana continued to play at the Division 1 college level and competing in leagues in the tri-state area, occasionally traveling to Peru for training.

As the club expanded in 2018, NJAFC was honored to bring Briana and all her professional and collegiate experience onboard. Briana continues to grow, serving on the board of the Women's Futsal and Division A GSSL Team.  She also has a passion for volunteering and currently coaches a U13 and U14 girls travel team and a U13 futsal team. Professionally, her education allows her to continue developing her experience in the construction field, business development and interior consulting. Briana's goal as VP are to obtain brand consistency, youth divisions, community outreach and continuing to develop international connections.
